The photo shoot for the 2015 Team Banner will be held on Sunday Nov 23rd starting at 8AM. The cost will be $30.00 per child and will include an 8X10 of the banner, an 8X10 individual portrait and hairstyling (provided by David Groshen).

Team Dinner May 29th, Thursday at Leonard's of Great Neck!
The Thomas Ashton Foundation announces the 13th and final Tommy Ashton 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to be held on April 17 & 18, 2015 at St. Sebastian Parish Center.
From its beginning, the Tournament’s goal was to remember and honor Tommy Ashton, a young man who was killed in the attack on America on September 11, 2001. In memory of Tommy, the generosity of our valued sponsors, participants, volunteers and spectators has enabled the Tournament to donate over $285,000 to worthwhile charitable organizations and local projects (visit www.thomasashtonfoundation.com for a list of recipients).
St. Sebastian Parish has been a cornerstone of Tommy's life and that of the Ashton Family, in addition to supporting this tournament throughout the years. This year's proceeds will be donated to worthwhile programs/projects benefiting St. Sebastian Parish in Tommy's honor and in grateful appreciation for a lifetime of love and support.

Raffle tickets are available now for the 50/50. The drawing will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the end of the tournament. If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets and will not be able to attend the tournament, please contact me and I will make arrangements to get them to you. If you’d like to help us sell raffle tickets, please let me know that too and I’ll be happy to send you some.

Dear friends and family,
Owen is loved by all of us so very much. His immense strength at the age of two to battle Aplastic Anemia is an inspiration to me and to so many of you as well. Owen is in need of a bone marrow transplant and at the moment there is no match in the Bone Marrow Registry. Owen needs our help to find a match.
On Saturday, November 9th from 9AM - 4PM, a bone marrow drive is being held to help find Owen a match.
I am asking for your help in two ways:
The first being that in order for the drive to run we need volunteers to staff it. There needs to be a minimum of 20 volunteers for the entire duration of the drive to help distribute and collect information from donors. There will be a brief training for all volunteers the day of the drive. I know it is a long day but the more donors we get the greater the chance it is that Owen will find his match. I am asking if it is possible for you to volunteer your time to help make this drive a success. Any time you are able to donate would be greatly appreciated. Whether you can commit to a two hour shift or if you would be available to stay the entire day would be a huge help. Feel free to ask your family or friends if they would like to volunteer as well. The more the better. Please let me know if you are able to volunteer and at what time.
The second is by spreading the word about the drive and helping to solicit as many donors as possible. I am attaching a flyer for the event. Please forward to it as many people as you can, post it in stores, local businesses, social media networks, etc.,. If anyone has any connection to the media whether it be newspaper, TV or radio please let me know, and if the Hogan family is okay with it, I will provide you with a press release and any other contact info you may need.
