Results of the Y Virtual National Meet:

A national meet of YMCA teams competing in every age group from 10 & Under to the 15 & over seniors.
The Flyers placed 8th in the country out of 216 teams!!!! Showing our strength throughout the entire program, from Coach Shirly's 10 & Unders, to Richies Seniors; with many great swims by all.
Highlighted with scoring performances by Caroline Wu-Silvera, Steven Zhao and the 10 & under boys medley relay of Isaiah Mirabal; Lucas McBride; Douglas Santos & Steven Zhao placing for the 10 & Unders.
Olivia Santos and both the 11-12 girls and boys medley relays of Irene Du; Erica Lou; Olivia Santos & Kelly Reyes then Justin McBride; Felix Foo; Alan Li & Michael Timothy scoring fo r the 11-12 year olds.
Individual points earned by Emma Miller, Maria Trivino, Amy Hao, Jennifer Arana & Edmund Zhan in the 13-14 age group, with all four 13-14 relays scoring for Flushing!! The girls free relay of Safiya Sergeant; Maria Trivino; Daniela Marquez & Samantha Santos and medley relay of Emma Miller; Amy Hao; Jennifer Arana & Samantha Santos followed by the boys free relay of Andy Lao; George Wu; Francis Chu & Mateo Giraldo and medley relay of Joseph Grippo; Jordan Knight; Edmund Zhan & Joseph Mercurio.
The senior 15 and overs closed out the meet with scoring performances by Keara Leong, Kellyn McCarthy, Julia Sung & Ryan Bacci. Then another four top finishes from both the girls and boys open relays!!! The girls free relay consisted of Eleonora Mazzetti; Sally Lim; Katherine Kraus & Keara Leong and medley relay of Julia Sung; Kellyn McCarthy; Caitlin Graham & Keara Leong. Finally, the boys free relay of Matthew Li; Cody Pickel; Matthew Collins; Stephen Wheeler and medley relay of Matthew Collins; Allen Chu; Danny Graham & Ryan Bacci scoring for the 15 & overs.

Congratulations to Jennifer Arana for her performance at Eastern Zones!! Jennifer earned 1st in the 200IM, 2nd 100FLY & 100IM, 4th 50FLY & 5th 200FLY; while qualifying for Summer Y Nationals in 4 events.
